You'd think dean is an all pie guy. By the way he perks up at every and all pie, waiting to get one bite. But he didn't tell you one thing. He has a favorite. Probably two favorites. One you may know of and one that is a secret.
Apple, as his first choice. He likes the apple crisp and the cinnamon that entwines it all together. Maybe he should be a food critic. Cause it can get more detailed than that. The flakiness of the pie once you take that first bite is one in a million amazing. But who would think that paying attention to what you eat would be important in this hunters life?
And, as his second, it is pumpkin pie. It reminds him of his mother the most. Her recipe was the most complex but simple enough to make. Homemade crust that would fall apart in your mouth and not on the plate. And the pumpkin that has Thanksgiving and Fall wrapped around its finger. But who would want to know what he thinks?
